For my logo, I decided to experiment with my first and last initials. The thumbnails above are a compilation of several sketching sessions over a period of three days. My logo has gone through several versions over the years but I feel the above concept has been one of my more favorable designs. I decided to do a handwritten style of my initials to make it more personal and used my tablet to create my hand stroke in Illustrator. I also decided upon using a sans-serif typeface with a larger x-height and rounder body to convey my friendly and fun personality. The color red was chosen for its vibrancy and bold energy. I also liked that this color would make for a strong contrast against future printed materials with black, white and gray backgrounds.
